Sustainability at Our Conference
During ECPP 2026 we’re committed to delivering an exceptional experience while minimising our environmental impact. As part of our effort to host a fantastic conference responsibly, we have implemented a series of sustainable practices and encourage all attendees to join us in making a positive difference.

Our Initiatives:
Venue choice - the Convention Centre Dublin (CCD) is widely recognised as a sustainable venue , thanks to its advanced environmental practices and commitment to sustainability.

1. LEED Certification
The CCD was the world’s first carbon-neutral constructed convention center and holds a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certification. LEED Platinum is the highest level of certification, awarded for buildings with the most stringent sustainability practices in design, construction, and operation.
2. Energy Efficiency
The building is designed for optimal energy efficiency, including features like a sophisticated energy management system, high-performance glazing to reduce heat loss, and low-energy lighting. The building’s design also maximises natural light, reducing the need for artificial lighting and energy use.

3. Locally Sourced and Sustainable Catering Options
The CCD prioritises sustainable catering by working with local suppliers, reducing food miles.
4. Commitment to Carbon Offsetting
As part of its carbon-neutral goals, the CCD actively works to offset any carbon emissions associated with its operations. This includes initiatives like sourcing renewable energy and offsetting emissions through verified environmental projects.
